eCurve allows for a variety of metrics when evaluating the success or failure rates of a course, module or examination. The weighting of a course can either be purely assignment based or weighted on content consumption* and other criteria. 

Scoring the user can be assigned to a GPA styled system that adopts standard grading metrics that is also configurable based on your requirements. Alternatively, new courses are purely points-based and even centred around gamification**.

* Content consumption scoring is less restrictive than traditional education scenarios and is focused on corporate training situations.
